----------------------------------------------------

Tomorrow I'm off to All Tomorrows Parties with some friends for a weekend of alcohol fuelled debauchery and all round good times. The Melvins are playing a couple of sets including their original 83' hardcore punk era lineup with Mike Dillard on drums (Dillard was in Kurt Cobain's first band, Fecal Matter - along with Buzz and Dale). Shame there's no Matt Lukin (The Melvins, Mudhoney) but I guess he's too busy doing whatever in Holland.

Some of the other bands I plan to check out are Torche, Zu, Butthole Surfers, Double Negative, The Meat Puppets, Monotonix, the Tom Green approved comedian, Neil Hamburger and lastly Big Business. The last time I met Big Biz, Jared was showing me his collection of bestiality/stud farm laptop backgrounds. Let the good times roll. In my travel case, I have a couple of changes of clothes, a camera, 4 rolls of film, a bottle of tequila, a bottle of aftershock, a bottle of opal, a bottle of brennivĂn and 30 cans of lager - I'd say I was pretty much set for a good weekend.

Currently listening to An Anthology of Dead Ends by Botch in bed, I should probably get some sleep. Updates Monday, photos soon.
