On the first night I was in Iceland, I went down to practice with the band - Krummi was in Denmark performing with his father, Björgvin Halldórsson so it was just an instrumental practice. After they had been through the set I was asked if I wanted to hear a certain song and I asked for Whos Hobo, which is a song they never play live, it was pretty cool to hear one of your favourite songs from one of your favourite bands played just for you in a small room, click the link at the top to listen to another song from the same record.
I shot this picture of Bjarni whilst in Iceland in 2008. We hung out at his apartment in the afternoon the day after performing the last night of JCS at the city theatre. I've uploaded the shot because I overlooked it originally using a similar shot in my exhibition, I sorta like this more.
Straight scan, hasn't been cleaned up and there's still some dust and fibres on the negative but I like that. Kodak 400TX shot on a Mamiya C330 80mm

Strobist: I used a little fill in on the right side to balance the natural rim light from the window on the left, fired with a wireless trigger.
